About Red Sash Racing Club
Welcome to The Red Sash Racing Club, a syndication model with a slight difference. The Club has been put together to bring it’s members to the very heart of our wonderful sport – a collaboration between Nick Brown, who has been running successful syndicates for nearly 25 years, and Will Kinsey, the founder of Peel Bloodstock, based in Cheshire who currently runs his own breeding, boarding, pinhooking and sales company at his home in Cheshire. Both Will and Nick are passionate about racing – and National Hunt Racing in particular, and it was from a conversation between the two in early 2023 that the idea of The Red Sash Racing Club was born.
During the near quarter century that Nick has been syndicating horses he has built a reputation for sourcing, through a network of some of the best and hardest working people in the bloodstock industry, the very best value horses around, offering his clients, both syndicate members and owners the chance to compete at the very highest level of our sport, for a fraction of the usual costs involved. Nick works tirelessly for his clients, not only to ensure that the horses he has to offer represent outstanding value for money but also to in liasing with Racecourses and industry trade bodies to ensure that his members and owners receive the very best raceday experiences possible, which may be negotiating on their behalf for an extra badge, or organising extra facilities so that every member has the very best time at the races, an experience they deserve as owners and syndicate members.
Nick’s record speaks for itself, he has had winners at the very highest level, including the Punchestown Festival, and in recent years has expanded his team to over 15 horses in training with some of the very best National Hunt trainers in the country. As a result of a slight restructure around 4 years ago, both the number and the quality of the horses that are on the team have improved dramatically, and in the spring of 2023 Nick was very proud to have three runners at the Aintree Grand National Meeting – quite and achievement to have 20% of the horses running in the black, red and white colours to be running for their owners and members at one of the biggest race meetings in the World!
Will, from a farming family has spent his life in the countryside, and in racing. He has experienced all aspects of the racing and bloodstock industry, from riding, to training and now running Peel Bloodstock Limited. Since starting the company Will’s dedication to the thoroughbred and racing in general has seen him gather together a top class client list, and he currently boards some of the very best national hunt broodmares on either side of the Irish Sea. Will consigns horses of all ages to all of the major sales in the UK, Ireland and France, and is also on the board of Thoroughbid, an on line bloodstock auction company, that have gone a long way to revolutionise how both racehorses and breeding stock are traded. Will was recently voted on to the board of trustees of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
